Stopping Termites From Destroying Your Greenville Home

When termites get into your house, they won’t do it with any fanfare. They won’t make themselves known by leaving droppings around your kitchen, making a lot of noise in your walls, or biting you while you sleep. In fact, there’s a good chance you’ll have no idea that they’re even there. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t cause any problems.

A termite infestation in your Greenville home can lead to serious damage and can even threaten the structural integrity of your home. Termites eat wood, and because they can go undetected for months or years, they will slowly chew tunnels through the wooden beams holding your house up until they are dangerously weak. Often, by the time you discover a termite infestation, it has been there long enough to have caused severe damage.

Additional Termite control Services

In addition to the termite control services listed above, we also provide pre-construction treatments and CL-100/WDI Reports.

Our pre-construction treatments are an ideal option for people in the early stages of the home building process. We will talk with your contractor to determine the best treatment option to protect your home from termites before it’s fully built.

Our CL-100/WDI Report service is available for those in the process of buying or selling a home. We will perform the necessary inspection to look for any signs of termite or other wood destroying insect damage. We’ll then fill out the proper forms and provide them to you so you can continue the home buying process.

Our termite control process

We offer two main treatment options: Liquid treatments and baiting systems:

For our liquid treatment, we use Termidor®, America’s #1 termite defense product. We’ll dig a trench into the soil around the perimeter of your home, apply the product into the trench, then fill the trench back in. We call this our trench and drench process. By creating a continuous barrier of protection around your house, termites have no choice but to walk through it, and they won’t even realize that they have. Once Termidor® has gotten onto the termites, they can transfer it to other members of the colony. Eventually, it works its way through the whole colony and eliminates them all.

Our baiting system, Advanced Termite Baiting Systems, is another excellent choice for termite control. We install bait stations in the ground every 10-15 feet around the perimeter of your house. When a termite finds the station, it will bring the bait back to the colony while also alerting other worker termites to the station’s presence. This way, the entire colony ends up taking the bait and is eliminated.
